Team composition

• A representative of the sponsoring institution, typically a faculty member, must serve as or designate the team coach. The coach certifies the eligibility of contestants and serves as the official point of contact with the team.
• Each team consists of three contestants and may have at most one official reserve. Teams with fewer than three are ineligible. Each contestant and reserve must satisfy the following competitor eligibility requirements.
• During the Academic Term of Eligibility (the last full academic term in the calendar year during which the regional contest is held), each competitor must be a student enrolled in a post-secondary degree program at the sponsoring institution with at least a half-time load. A competitor may compete for only one institution during a contest year.
• A competitor may not have competed in more than one World Finals.
• A competitor must be in at most the 6th year of post-secondary study. All but one of the contestants must be in at most the 4th year of post-secondary study. No competitor may have earned a graduate degree.
• In the event of qualifying to advance to the World Finals, competitors must be prepared to provide a history of work and educational experience including a transcript to substantiate eligibility.
• A team is not eligible to compete until it has been accepted in the ICPC Registration System.

• Команда состоит из трёх участников и не более одного запасного участника. В команде не может быть менее трех участников. Все участники должны быть удовлетворять следующим требованиям.
• Участник должен быть студентом очной формы обучения. До завершения учебы участника должно остаться более семестра (он должен быть студентом во время проведения финала). Кроме того, в течении сезона соревнований (от финала до финала) он выступать только за один вуз.
• Ни один из участников не должен быть финалистом чемпионата мира более одного раза.
• При этом только один участник может быть студентом старше 4 курса, но не старше 6 курса. Кроме того, ни один участник не может иметь полное высшее образование (степень старше бакалавра).
• Регистрация команда должна быть принята в регистрационной системе ICPC.
